The series „Sam – Ein Sachse“ is based on the incredible and true story of Samuel Meffire, East Germany’s first black police officer. Join Sam on his restless search for home and as he fights for justice against an overbearing system. His childhood as an outsider, marked by the murder of his father, his meteoric rise as a symbolic figure and media sensation of a new Germany and Sam’s deep fall, his escape as an internationally wanted enemy of the state.
